Dr. Corry Key
Dr. Corry Key grew up in Missouri and attended undergraduate at Stephens College in Columbia, MO. She then moved on to veterinary school at the University of Missouri. After graduation she moved to Arkansas in 1997 and married her husband, Justin, in 2005. They have two children, Noah and Savannah, and she has four step sons. Dr. Key has bred and shown Arabian horses since 1987, and has bred and shown American Bullies since 2007. She is the published author of two books and has two more in the works.
Dr. Kevin Meurer
Dr. Kevin Meurer was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. He earned his B.S. in Biology from theUniversity of Central Arkansas in 2005. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 from Tuskegee University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He enjoys spending time at home with his wife, Jennifer, and two girls, Isabelle and Lily, and their dog, Lexie. He has owned lots of different pets throughout his lifetime; from dogs and cats to chinchillas and ferrets. He first joined the After Hour team as an veterinary assistant while attending UCA, later he returned as a doctor.
Dr. Brooke O’Bryan
Dr. Brooke O’Bryan spent most of her childhood in Sheridan, AR and owned as many animals as her parents would allow – dogs, cats, chickens, fish, an iguana, and even pygmy goats! She attended Harding University where she earned her B.S. in Biology in 2011 and then married her high school sweetheart, Michael, that summer. She went to veterinary school at Oklahoma State University to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After graduation, she joined the After Hour team. Her interests include emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery, toxicology, and gastrointestinal disease. The O’Bryan’s own two feisty kitties, Katie and Izzy, as well as a Dachshund, Peanut, who will do any trick for a treat, and a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix, Melrose, who is a scruffy little lovebug!
Dr. Samantha Ray
Dr. Samantha Ray was born and raised in McCrory, Arkansas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lyon College in Batesville prior to attending Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2006. Dr. Ray joined our team in 2016 with nine years of experience in emergency medicine and became Medical Director at After Hour Animal Hospital in 2018. Dr. Ray has a special interest in soft tissue surgery as well as internal medicine. She is married with two daughters and a son, as well as five dogs, four cats, two turtles, and two hermit crabs. Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with her family outdoors as well as traveling to watch her daughters compete in All-Star Cheerleading competitions.
